MRM Business Services — Strength. Direction. Momentum.
You get the capacity back to lead the business, instead of holding it together
The business works. Clients are satisfied, revenue is coming in, and from the outside, nothing appears broken. But decisions keep finding their way back to you, questions land on your desk that shouldn't, and progress depends too heavily on your presence and involvement.
That weight builds quietly over time, and it is almost always structural.
I build the operational structure that stops everything from flowing back to one person.
When the business starts orbiting around you
When the business you built starts running you instead, you do not need convincing that something is off.
Somewhere along the way, you became the nucleus the business orbits around. Decisions, clarifications, approvals, and problems keep finding their way back to you because the structure underneath the business was never designed to distribute them.
The business keeps moving because you keep compensating for the gaps through memory, intervention, availability, and constant oversight.
Over time, growth slows, decision-making becomes heavier, and the business demands more of your attention than it should.
Some days, you catch yourself wondering whether this is actually what you signed up for.
There is another way to run your business.
A business that holds its own weight
It is about understanding how the business actually operates today, where dependency concentrates, and what needs to change so decisions, information, and responsibility stop flowing back to the same person.
The goal is operational structure that allows the business to function consistently, without requiring your constant involvement to keep things moving.
The result is a business with its own nucleus.
Hi, I’m Michelle
My corporate career began over 20 years ago inside large, complex organisations where operational structure was the difference between businesses that held and businesses that didn't. Those years taught me how businesses actually function behind the scenes, and what it costs when they don't.
Alongside that corporate life, horses were always my constant. Before, during, and after my corporate career, I've been deeply involved in the equine world, including time as a rider and trainer for a purebred Spanish horse farm. It's a world built on passion and commitment, where structure often lags behind ambition.
I founded MRM Business Services over a decade ago. Since then, I've worked with business owners and equine professionals who needed the kind of operational support that changes how a business actually functions, not just how it feels on a good day.
Today, I work with a small number of clients at a time. Founders of established service businesses who need someone who has seen this before, knows what it costs, and knows how to change it.
Is this the right support for you?
This may be a good fit if:
Your business is established, but relies too heavily on you
You value structure, clarity, and continuity
You're looking for support that addresses what sits underneath, not just surface-level tasks
This is not a fit if:
You're looking for ad-hoc task support
You want someone "on call" without clear boundaries
You're not ready to hand over responsibility
In practice, the decisions that used to land back on your desk stop finding their way there. The team develops its own rhythm. Problems surface early enough to be dealt with calmly. And the business keeps moving when you're not in the room.
If that's what's missing, the next step is a short conversation. No commitment, just clarity on whether this is the right support for where your business is now.
